We've decided to post these updates on our website in order to let our visitors looking for student housing get an inside view of the Chelsea House student life!
Welcome back to the CH Show!!! 📺 - This is the weekly update to keep you abreast of what’s good in Montreal, the city we love ❤️, as well as updates from your beloved student residence community 🏡 (and another benefit is this keeps parents back home jealous at all times & updated enough not to blow up your phones lol❤️🙏 ).
As we welcome the first week of May and officially bid farewell to this school semester, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all you for choosing Chelsea House as your home away from home 🏡.

It's La Pizza Week, CFam! 🍕🤤
Where are our CH Pizza 🍕monsters? 👀 We got something very special for you! Did you know that from May 1st to May 14th, a food festival called "La Pizza Week" is held in several cities across Canada, including our beloved city of Montreal? 😉 The festival offers a variety of unique and creative pizza options from local restaurants, including The Deli, Poke Bento, Hang Time, G Pizza, and many more. Don't forget to vote for your favorite pies on the festival's official website!! The event is also partnered with Doordash for home delivery 🛵 so you can enjoy your meals in the comfort of your CH apartments.
Explore the Space with a New VR Experience in Old MTL
Ever dreamt of exploring the vastness of space? 👽 This new VR experience 👓 in Commune O. called Space Explorers: THE INFINITE, will allow you to do so (at least virtually, lol)!! The experience, which is based on the EMMY-Award-winning series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, features a 3D and 360-degree virtual reality spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) and the Artemis I liftoff on an immersive wall of five giant screens. Tickets range from $46 to $64 and are available online. The event runs from May 3rd to July 3rd at the Phi Centre in Montreal. Don't miss out!
Cool Down with Yummy and Invigorating Drinks 🍹 at Bisou Bisou
Quench your thirst 🍹 and enjoy the school break 😌 in this new Old Montreal aperitif bar called "Bisou Bisou". The team behind it is composed of experienced cocktail makers from other popular bars in Montreal 🇨🇦, New York 🇺🇸, and London 🇬🇧. They offer a variety of creative cocktails 🍸 and a selection of fortified wines 🍷. The bar is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm'til 12 midnight. With everyone busy with packing their stuff, move-out inspections, school requirements, and other last minute preps before heading home ✈️, our CH Events Committee 🦸♀️🦸♂️ figured, it's now or never 💪🏻 Sooo, a few days ago, an impromptu End of Semester Party 🥳 at everyone's favorite venue -- the CH Lounge ❤️

- Stylist @ Boutique 1861 | Calling all CH fashionistas 👗👖! We found the perfect job for you! Boutique 1861 is looking for a stylist to join their team. The position involves providing customer service including personalized advice, completing transactions, and restocking the store. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fashion and have excellent interpersonal skills. At least 25 hours of work per week (including weekends) is required.
- Nanny @ La Lune Sitters | The agency is currently hiring a part-time nanny for an 8-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy, with a guarantee of 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of childcare experience, hold a driver's license with a clean driving record, and be fluent in EN or FR. Compensation is $25.00-$30.00 per hour, and benefits include a casual dress code, commuter benefits, discounted or free food, and bonus pay.
- Receptionist @ Vision Group | If you've been thinking of getting LASIK but couldn't afford it yet, we found an amazing opportunity for you! The job of the receptionist is to greet and bill patients, confirm appointments, manage mail, emails, and faxes, among others. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be passionate about the medical field. Work schedule is from Monday-Friday with flexible hours.

Bank Details
Alright, CFam! With the moving out preparations in full blast, our official move-out inspector Steph 🕵️♀️ would like to remind everyone to please please fill out the bank details form below.
This is super duper important because as you know, we will begin to process the refunds of your security deposits at the end of your lease. If we do not have the info on-hand or if there are errors in the details that you have submitted, refunds will be delayed and consequently, will cause headaches for our accounting team 🤯.
To ensure that the process goes as smoothly and swiftly as possible, please make sure that ALL of your requirements for the move-out are done and submitted on time (check the link for the move-out info sent via email to you and your parents).
