REM Montreal Launch Party 🎉
🎉 Get ready for a two-day extravaganza celebrating the upcoming commissioning of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) 🚆. On July 29 and 30, enjoy free access to the first five stations: Brossard, Du Quartier, Panama, Île-des-Sœurs, and Gare Centrale 🚉. Trains will run frequently from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., ensuring minimal wait times ⏰. As you may recall the start of the admissions season is upon us, which means that we’re now interviewing all the prospective CH members to join our student house for the upcoming year.
A lot of really interesting members joining like:
- Residential Cleaner @ Shine Cleaning . Shine Cleaning services is looking for part-time workers. Your duties will be routine move in and move out cleanings for residential homes, sweeping, mopping and dusting. Qualifications are 2 years of paid cleaning experience, you must be able to speak english and must have General Liability Insurance.. For further details please click HERE.
- Food runner @ Wienstein & Gavino's.Wienstein & Gavino's a famous downtown restaurant has an opening for part-time workers. W&G runner and caller responsibilities include picking up food orders placed by service staff, assisting the kitchen staff to provide top quality food for customers, calling out orders to kitchen staff. - Packaging assistant @ SKOTIDAKIS.
SKOTIDAKIS a dairy product company currently has an opening for packaging assistants.Your duties as a packaging assistant would be maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for the machines, packing and handling boxes containing food and cleaning after production change products. We have a zero-violence policy at Chelsea House. Our zero-tolerance violence policy is part of our commitment to provide a safe and dignified environment for all members, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other aspect of their identity. All members are responsible for conducting themselves in a respectful and inclusive manner, and disciplinary action will be taken in situations where a member’s behavior violates this expectation.
Applicable fine for 1st violation: $300 + possibility of immediate expulsion from Chelsea House
Every member is authorised to have a maximum of 2 visitors at a time during the day. Please note that you may, on occasion, have an overnight visitor. We ask that you make sure to ask your roommates to agree to it. If an overnight visitor becomes a regular occurrence, we will have to interview them & make sure that we know who they are, and membership fees will be charged to your account. Our rooms are single occupancy – meaning that you cannot have a guest on an ongoing basis.
If the total combined number of members and visitors in a single apartment reaches 8, we ask that the gathering be moved down to the member’s lounge out of respect for the rest of the House. The lounge doesn’t close. Open 24/7. It’s soundproof. Sofas, Bar, Pool Table, TVs. Go nuts.
All members are responsible for their visitor’s adherence to the Chelsea House rules and must always accompany their visitors. Any damages that occurred by a member’s guest will be the responsibility of the member (choose your guests wisely).
Applicable fine for 1st violation: $25 (fines escalate for repeat offenders)
